Regional Partnership Board

The Regional Partnership Board is responsible for managing and developing services to secure strategic planning and partnership working between statutory, third sector, service user and carer partners.

The West Glamorgan Regional Partnership Board was formally established in November 2016 (originally titled ‘Western Bay Regional Partnership Board’). The Social Service ans Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 introduced a statutory role for a Regional Partnership Board, although this was preceded by the Western Bay Regional Partnership Forum, which was originally established as a non-statutory footing in 2014.

The Regional Partnership Board has set Vision and Aims to strategically deliver the ambitious programme with robust governance arrangements. Its purpose is to ensure effective services, care and support are in place to best meet the needs of the population.

Minutes for Regional Partnership Board meetings are formally approved by the Board at the subsequent meeting. Time for translation into Welsh should also be taken into account.
